Okay, so Monique is back. I'm not 100% sure how this happened, but because it has, Marcel is convinced they can get back Davina. Monique knows that his intentions for this are pure, so she tells Sophie they should help me. Sophie agrees on the condition that after she helps him track down the other witches, he gives them enough money to leave.

Kieran ends up getting hexed by a witch. And while he's talking to Cami about it, another witch overhears and tells them that if they stab Klaus with the Papa Tunde knife, she will un-hex the priest. So Cami meets up with Klaus, but instead of stabbing him, tells him that she wants to be on the winning side of the war and hands the knife over to him. He goes out in search of the witch and uses Monique as bait.

Marcel is pissed because he doesn't believe in harming children. Klaus doesn't have time to deal with him, so he just snaps his neck. However, when he turns back around, Sophie has picked up the knife and plunged it into his chest. He's screaming and writhing in pain. Eventually, he collapses and seems unconscious. I'm sure he's not dead, since, you know, we can't kill him, but he's certainly out of commission.

Later, Sophie tries to leave with Monique, but she doesn't want to go. Sophie tells her she's going. But Monique attacks Sophie. She tells her that she didn't want to believe the other witches when they said she lost faith, but it's obvious she had. And she kills her. Maybe. Possibly. She certainly looks dead, but I've thought people were dead so many times before and been fooled.

Meanwhile, it's a full moon, so Hayley is trying to throw a party for her family. They get to turn into people on the full moon, and she's invited them all over. Rebekah is sort of reluctantly helping with the party. But, as soon as the wolves turn into humans, a cute guy starts chatting her up. It's not long before they are outside, making out against a tree (what is it with tree make outs on this show and TVD?) and he tells her he's sorry, but it's just part of the deal. She looks up to see she's surrounded by werewolves. Fun.

Back in the house, Hayley's supposed to be arranged werewolf marriage guy, is telling her that she made a deal with a witch to lift the curse on the family, but she hasn't done any such thing. Just then, the house goes up in flames and the doors all start locking them in. She and potential werewolf husband are trapped.

Elijah, meanwhile, has figured out that Sabine is Celeste. And she starts using some witchy power on him to put him out of commission. She then tells him that Klaus, Rebekah, and Hayley are all in danger. And, by the time he'll be clear headed enough to help, he can only save one. He ends up going to Hayley as she's in the greatest amount of danger (at least from my point of view- plus the other Originals can't die). He saves her and her fake husband. However, he cannot find Klaus or Rebekah. He heads back to the compound and demands that everyone start to search for Klaus and Rebekah.

This feels like a mid season finale. 2/3 or the Originals are missing. Sophie is probably dead. And Monique and Celeste are back. Seems like too much of a cliffhanger for it to be a regular episode, right?
