Babylon 5 3x6 Reaction

Comments

Remember the pilot, when G'Kar wanted a deal with Lyta to get her DNA to analyze the telepathic genes - she would have gotten to choose the specifics.

I'm so glad this episode moved you as much as it did. I really found it amazing, such a simple episode when it comes to plot, but wow, the delivery of the episode was amazing. Just putting two actors together and letting them work, just amazing! I too am hard pressed to say whether G'Kar or Londo is my favorite - it really depends on where they are in the 5 year arc. I'm just glad I got to know them both.

The show is back to form this week. A great episode.

I found this episode extremely powerful and moving with the three most significant "Father" figures in his life weighing in on G'kars future. I believe the shorter Narn with was likely G'Quon, and we know the winged character was the deity G'lan from the episode The Fall of Night. Fantastic Sci Fi and it was a pleasure watching you react.

So we are starting to get into the part of Babylon 5 where you will start saying to yourself "I think that was my favorite episode ever!" after nearly every episode. Can't wait to see your reaction to the rest!

Love this episode too very much. Great reaction! Thank you. 😊

And the real world counterpart in the US is the "Disinformation Governance Board". Even though it has officially been disbanded, it will certainly come back in one form or another.

So normally I wait until the file is available to play, but I was in such a rush to watch your reaction that I downloaded it and watched it immediately. This is one of my favourite episodes, I’m so pleased you liked it! We get progression in so many plot lines, and the scenes between Londo and G’Kar are just magnificent. (And your question about where you’re recalling the Ministry of Truth - and Ministry of Peace - from, it’s Orwell’s 1984. Minipax and Minitrue, in the Newspeak.)

Glad you liked this episode; this is one of my favourite episodes of all five seasons. The best bits of this episode are basically two people talking, Londo and G’Kar and then Kosh Narn and G’Kar against black background. Bester coming in and acting superior is a bonus.

In the original B5 pilot, The Gathering, there was a deleted scene involving dust and a hostage situation in customs. It was added back in for the special edition re-edit.

PS. "Ministry of Truth" you mentioned is from "1984" by George Orwell ;)
