Taking a break

Hello everyone. Yesterday I posted that I will be stepping away from the channel for a short period of time. That was very vague, and I apologize for that. Since I explained a bit of why I feel the need to step away over on my Discord, I will also touch upon that here. I can't be as transparent as I'd prefer, but I hope it will help in understanding why I feel the need to take a small step back.

Yesterday afternoon, I was informed by my employer that I was being let go. So for the first time since early 2020, I am unemployed. I can't go into the details about anything, but I will share that I was ridiculously saddened and shocked by yesterday's news. I wouldn't say I'm doing much better today, but I'm less shaken up than I was when I got the news. Frankly, I don't know how to feel. Years of dedication and effort are gone, and it really does hurt.

It's obvious what I have to work towards now. YouTube is a hobby I would like to hold onto as much as possible, but it doesn't pay the bills. I also have to consider my mental health, which has been poor for the past year or so. I ask that I have this week to sort through my thoughts and take care of myself. I want to be as productive as possible, so I may return this weekend, next week, or the week after. I simply don't like to sit around; I want to make progress with my hobbies. Making videos like I have been for more than 10 years has always been a great way to escape from reality at times, and I still enjoy it to this day.

While I ask for your patience, feel free to catch up on what I've uploaded recently. I got started with the second episode of Umineko, Persona 3 Reload finally showed up in the mail, and I made a review on the new Konosuba game (despite this last week being very difficult). I also posted the rest of the stuff I had uploaded (it was just another P3R video). I appreciate your understanding with all of this and I hope I can return to making videos consistently again soon.
