So, I didn't love this episode. Maybe it was because it was based on a musical plot line, maybe it was because I'm not loving how much Zoe wants to constantly fall into bed with Wade, maybe it's because the fact that she can't make up her mind seems silly (she's wanted Wade almost since she got here).

Zoe is determined (again) to stop sleeping with Wade. He doesn't buy it, but they make a bet that she can't go 48 hours without sleeping with him. But, Rose shows up catches her doing the walk of shame (literally, she's sans pants). She begs Zoe to help her throw a music festival (she knows Zoe's mom knows a bunch of artists), but as hard as she tried, she can't help.

They then decide that Wade's ex is a pretty famous local indie musician, and Rose begs Zoe to ask Wade for help. She does and he's convinced it's a ploy to sleep with him. But when Rose shows up in the car, he realizes it's not. But, when they get to her house, it's obvious she's not a Wade fan. But Zoe convinces him to apololgize to her and after he does, she agrees to help.

But, it turns out, she's a total hypochondriac. Right before she's supposed to go on stage, she checks in with Zoe about some numbness in her finger. Zoe claims it's probably nerves, but when she makes Zoe promise it can't be nerve damage, Zoe is forced to say she's not sure. And she up and leaves to go see a specialist. Zoe runs around trying to find a replacement, and George is kind enough to help out. Unfortunately for Zoe, both he and Wade end up with their fair share of groupies after their performance. Honestly, I'm annoyed with Zoe right now. She wants neither of these guys to be with anyone else, but she's refusing to be with either of them. She can't have it both ways, as much as she might want to.

Meanwhile, no surprise to anyone, Lemon is a terrible waitress. The owner tells Wade to fire her, but he refuses, so the owner fires her himself. However, she begs him to let her stay the night so she can serve her dad and his date. She's desperate for him to see how good of an employee she is. (Spoiler alert: she's terrible). She accidentally serves his date fish and she's allergic, so they leave so Brick can give her an epi-pen. George, who's trying to find a one night stand, sees how miserable she is and wanders over to try to cheer her up. This causes him to lose the girl.

But Brick is really trying to get Lemon to take the job as his receptionist (and while, I get how she feels, it's probably the best option for her). Maybe we'll see more of that in the coming episodes. BB is stubborn, but she might realize this could be a nice stepping stone so something on her own.

Also, Lavon is worried about what Ruby might want, as she's acting kind of shady. She assures him, it's not like that. Until, at the end of the episode, she informs him that she's running against him for mayor. I don't think he needs to be concerned. He's good at his job and people love him. Right?
