The Originals 1X4: Girl In New Orleans

Do we think Marcel has something on Davina? Why the hell would she allow herself to be locked up in that attic and do his bidding when she's stronger than everyone on this show? Also, I'm 100% sure I read an mpreg a zillion years ago where the pregnant person was impervious because they were carrying a werewolf baby. So, this is old hat for me. Lol.

Anyway, Davina convinces Marcel to let her out for the night so she can go to a music festival, but he requests Cami keep an eye on her. She initial refuses, but is then compelled by Klaus to agree. Turns out, there's a guy in a band that Davina wants to talk to. Klaus cottons on to this and arranges a meeting between them at the church.

They are getting along okay, when Klaus shows up and basically threatens to kill Tim if Davina doesn't agree to swap sides. He tells her he can give her everything Marcel can, but with the added benefit of not keeping her locked up. Instead, she starts to boil his blood and then attacks him. Shortly thereafter, he tosses Tim over the balcony and agrees to heal him for her, but now she owes Klaus a favor.

We also find out that Cami's twin brother slaughtered a bunch of alter boys (and himself) in this church not that long ago. Cami had been trying to figure out why and now she thinks it's because he was compelled to do it. However, Klaus then compels her to forget, but he assures her he'll figure it out and make sure whoever did it pays.

Meanwhile, Rebekah is still busy trying to find Elijah. She's remembered a few more details about the attic and eventually finds the church. She 'compels' the priest to show her the attic, but when she gets there, she can't get in. However, Elijah brings her to some memory and tells her that Davina has taken the dagger out, and he'll be awake soon. But she needs to leave him behind because he has a plan. He does ask her to take care of Hayley though.

Speaking of Hayley, she's taken by one of the witches to some weird ass doctor in the middle of nowhere. As soon as she goes inside, the witch calls someone. Shortly after the appointment, the doctor tries to sedate her and a bunch of vampires (?) try to attack. Hayley manages to sedate the doctor, lock the door and jump out the window. Once outside, she manages to kill a couple of the attackers and then Rebekah shows up and helps.

However, they are both shot with arrows. When Rebekah wakes up, Hayley is gone and there is just a trail of decimated bodies left behind. She calls Klaus and just as they start to go look for her, she shows up with no real memory of what happened. Rebekah notices she's healed and they realize that the vampire baby inside of her will keep her safe.

At the end of the episode, Elijah wakes back up and very calmly suggests to Davina that they talk. I'm hoping Elijah is awake for a bit now. I like his character and I'd rather see him animated, rather than basically dead.
