Arrow 7X9: Elseworlds Hour 2

I'm so glad that Oliver and Barry end up back in the correct bodies by the end of this episode because it was getting hard to talk about which one was which. Lol.

So, Oliver, Barry, and Kara all head over to Gotham City where they immediately get arrested. And then immediately get bailed out by Batgirl (?). They use the roof of her building to do some hacking and find the doctor. Batgirl tells us he works at Arkham Asylum so we know where to start, at least.

While we're doing this, Felicity (who no one bothered to tell about the body swap) has figured out how to pull a person out of the lightening. (That is 100% not what happened, but she used a bunch of tech jargon and you guys know what happened 🤣). It's another Flash who's been over on Earth 90 (I think) and tells them that to fix everything, they need to find the book.

So, Caitlin, Diggle, and Cisco transport themselves over and meet up with Oliver, Barry, and Kara right before they bust into the Asylum and give them the info.

Once they've inside, Kara is zooming around using her X-Ray vision to try to find the book, but it's not working. The doctor lets all the inmates out, so The Flash has to zoom around and get them all back in. Caitlin gets hit with something and she becomes Freeze Girl. And Barry and Oliver break some hallucinogenic drugs and end up fighting each other, but think they are fighting their enemies.

Somehow we manage to get the book (I think Kara gets it?), but it's locked with something we need smart science people to open, so we bring it back and Felicity and Co start working on it. Then book guy shows up on the news and we all head over to confront him. And we find out that he's testing Earths to see which one can better stand up to the battle that's coming (I think). And so far, we're winning. Yay?

But, they manage to steal the book back and remake reality again. Now, Oliver and Barry have no superpowers and they are some sort of criminals. They are trying to escape Diaz, who is a cop and is trying to arrest them when they run into (evil?) Superman.

This episode wasn't as fun as the last one, but I don't have any complaints!

The best part of the episode is Oliver and Felicity working through the dumb drama from the last episode. I was glad it didn’t last more than an episode.
