True Blood 5X6: Hopeless

Okay, so I don't really know what is going on with the werewolves that attacked us at the beginning of this episode. Why are they there? Are they just hanging out in cadaver drawers on the off chance that Alcide might come by? That doesn't seem right.

But Russell ends up getting cornered by Bill and Eric. Eric (I think, but it could have been Bill and I mixed this up) goes to stake him, but Bill stops him saying that if they can bring him back to the authority they might be spared. But, no need, as the authority immediately shows up.

The authority order Bill and Eric to glamour Sookie and Alcide so they don't remember this night. Of course, Sookie cannot be glamoured, and she remembers Bill telling her to forget he ever existed and go and live a normal life as a human. Alcide, who can be glamoured remembers nothing. At least until Sookie goes into his mind and helps him remember some things. Oh, and when Eric glamoured him, he told him he finds Sookie sexually repulsive.

Anyway, Bill, Eric and Russell all go back to Authority headquarters where they are celebrated for bringing by Russell. But, for whatever reason, Eric is being kind of bratty about it. Almost trying to get himself in trouble. I'm not really sure why. But it's decided that Russell will be executed. And Nora seems excited by this. I thought at first he was going to be used as a martyr, but then, he ends up killing Meloni (I don't know that guy's name, but it doesn't matter since he's dead now) and escapes. And Nora is euphoric about it.

Sookie and Jason end up at the fairy nightclub. And, while, looking for the truth about how her parents died, Sookie gets distressed and ends up shooting someone with her fairy power. This causes, like, a dozen other fairies to shoot their lights at her. No one where that's going.

Terry has finally returned to Arlene and told her that he's cursed after what he did in Iraq. He claims he can't stay because he doesn't want to bring any pain to her and kids. She begs him to go a doctor and get back on his meds, but he assures here that that is not what this is. And then he leaves. I hate this. Terry was one of the few, normal, nice guys in this town. Don't take that away from me show.

Sam and Andy are trying to figure out who is trying to kill shifters. They head to a 'get all your supernatural killing things here' shop. Andy asks the owner some questions, while Sam pretends to browse while trying to decipher the mood of him. Eventually, Sam knows something is up and yells for Andy to duck. The owner was about to attack him, when Sam shot him with an arrow.

I am kind of looking forward to a completely unhinged Russell for the rest of the season. But, other than that, I don't really know what's happening. 😳
