Tomb Sweeping Day!

I love a good death engaged national holiday. Especially when there is a juicy (poor choice of words) cannibalism legend to go along with it.
Are there more international death celebrations like this that you enjoy?

2017-04-06 14:48:25 +0000 UTCI like Samhain as it is celebrated by pagans today. It is a celebration of death, sort of, and a time to eat with deceased friends and relatives. I usually put out some chocolate for my Mormor (she loved chocolate) and feel closer to my dead loved ones. In the past there were sacrifices to mark the coming of winter and that the world was entering its dead phase. Sort of like a harvest ritual like ours where we sacrifice a turkey.
