I Burst Into Tears. Poor Dan Thought Someone Died.
Added 2025-02-22 23:28:18 +0000 UTCSo, mini disaster over here today. I accidentally (obviously) dropped a plate on my laptop. This machine is, literally, my entire life. I cannot do anything without it. So, today was not a fun Saturday. But, $450 (which I so don't have) and half a day later, it's fixed.
When I went in there, they initially said it was gonna take take, like, 5-7 days and I think I had an out of body experience. Apparently, they had rose gold and silver screens, but not space gray, which is what I have. After telling them to just put on a silver one (and agreeing to buy their fix me program- which I will cancel tomorrow), I somehow managed to get my laptop back today.
All this to say, that the schedule won't be coming out until tomorrow. There is a tiny chance I do it later tonight, but I just can't see it happening.
I just wanna have a martini, eat dinner, and read a book. I'm exhausted.
