Sons of Anarchy 5X5: Orca Shrugged

Dude. Tig getting his ass bitten made my entire day. (I so much wanted that for the thumbnail, but I just couldn't make it work. Sigh).

So we meet with Hale, who is refusing the lease the Elks building to us. But, Jax promises he can get him Charming Heights if he plays ball. I am very torn about this. We spent, like, an entire seasoning fighting against Charming Heights. And now we're just gonna give it up? Is there another plan here I don't know about yet? Or, did we take pictures of him going along with the blackmail that we can use later to blackmail him?

Anyway, there's a guy who is the swing vote on Charming heights. And Jax is gonna make sure he says yes. So, they drug him, dress him up in bondage wear, and hire a sex worker to to some sex acts on him while Juice takes a bunch of pictures. However, before they are done, his step son shows up (who doesn't like this guy either) and wants pics of his own. They distract him by telling him to go get a blow job from the sex worker (who is male) and not to worry about it. They all have sex with men sometimes. Then they get pictures of that so the kid will keep his mouth shut.

Tig is obsessed with them. And miserable that they don't want to fuck him. I almost feel bad for him. You know what, actually, I do feel bad for him. 🤣

As we're redressing the guy and getting him back to his desk, he suddenly wakes up and takes a huge bite out of Tig's ass. I loved it so much.

Now that Clay is healthy enough, we finally have the deal with the Irish and the cartel. It doesn't go super well (Jax and Gaalen kick the shit out of each other- why is Jax not just murdering him?; and the motorcycles get blown up in a demonstration of the goods- on purpose), but no one dies, so I guess overall it's a win?

Gemma is freaking out because Nero is trying to ghost her after agreeing to get into business with Jax. He finally tells her to talk to him and she does and Jax is all, now is not the time for this romance mom. I don't really care that much about this.

Eli's wife gets shot during the next home invasion. It seems like they didn't actually plan to shoot her and were confused and didn't really know what to do. Although, that could be because she was on the phone with 9-1-1 and maybe didn't expect her to have a gun. But, she got a good swipe at one of them. As Eli is getting her to the hospital, he tells the nurse to make sure he gets the DNA under her fingernails. So, maybe we'll finally get to the bottom of this.

Gemma and Tara are trying to rebuild their relationship. I think this probably has something to do with Tara beating up Carla, but I'm still clueless on that. But, when Gemma drops off a package for Jax (a thumb and a tit), Tara offers to let her feed Thomas.

It feels like a lot is happening right now. Irish/cartel, new business with Nero, home invasions, Charming Heights, interpersonal dynamic problems everywhere. It's only episode 5!
