So after a harrowing experience, Halina and Bella manage to get to Lvov. The driver of the wagon eventually left them close to the boarder to travel on foot, but the end up getting caught by the Soviets and put into a work camp of sorts for a week or so. Halina managed to befriend someone who argued for their release, and they finally get to Jakob's apartment.
After reuniting, Jakob and Bella pretty much immediately decide to get married. And after watching the two of them and Genek and his wife Herta be so happy and in love, Halina tells Adam that she's not like her sisters and they break up. However, he does tell her he'll help her get involved with the resistance he's been a part of.
Back in Radom, the parents and Mila, along with baby Felicia, get evicted (along with all the other Jewish people) and have 30 minutes to take whatever they can carry. After bribing (?) someone he knows, Sol manages to get them a place to live in the old Jewish quarter.
Meanwhile, Addy is still in the army, but has managed to forge himself some documents to get himself out. However, he has nowhere to actually go. He spends days tying to get a visa (along with all the other Jewish people), but to so avail. Finally he stalks out someone (I don't remember this guy's position), but he manages to get him a 3 month visa and he's able to buy passage on a ship that's leaving France for Rio the next day.
And then, at the very end of the episode, Genek is pulled out of his house in the middle of the night and is apparently deemed and enemy of the state and is going to get arrested. I hate this.
