Prison Break 2X4: First Down

I 100% fell for Rat Boy being the guy who was gonna get caught in this episode. I don't know if I should feel like an idiot, or thrilled that this show is just so good. Lol.

So Bellick and Geary pretty much immediately try to to capture Michael and Lincoln. By trying to run them off the road. And it works. Eventually the car hits a tree and Bellick runs over with a gun. Turns out though, he's not really in it for the reward money. Sucre's cousin told him about the money in Utah and he wants in on that, so we're all going to Utah together. Fun.

But Lincoln is smart enough to sabotage the car, sticking some glass under the tire so they end up with a flat. Geary heads off to fix it, while Bellick corrals the other three into a shack to wait. He zip ties Michael, Lincoln, and Nika (but makes super gross comments to Nika about how he wants to fuck her and watch her pee). Nika, for her part, seems to be playing both sides. I 100% had no idea where she fell in all of this. I guess, at the end of the day, she was on Team Herself, but still.

Eventually, Lincoln manages to get Bellick's knife and the tables finally turn. Once Geary comes back with the fix tire, Lincoln has Bellick's gun on him and he ties up both men and the three manage to leave. It seems like we're about to have a peaceful good bye, but then Nika grabs Lincoln's gun and pulls it on him and Michael. She's going to call the police and get the reward money for turning them in. This definitely shocked me. But, there were no bullets in the gun, so Lincoln takes the phone from her and he and Michael leave.

Meanwhile, Abruzzi has gotten back to his family and arranged for them to take a ship to Sardinia (?). However, he gets a tip that Fibonacci is in DC ready to testify, so over the objections of his wife (who wants him to drop this stupid vendetta and just be with his family again), he heads over there to kill him. But, it's a set up and when he arrives, Mahone and a bunch of agents are waiting for him. I'm pretty sure this is a suicide by cop deal. He refused to go back to prison, and spent too much time talking about God this episode (and you know, God is anti-suicide). He refuses to put down his gun and he takes, like, a dozen bullets killing him. Honestly, I really thought his wife set him up because she was pissed he was going do this.

Pocket Boy loses his car and tells some guy that he's a vet. The guy takes pity on him and offers him a ride. Unfortunately, he's got a 14 daughter with him. And we know how Pocket Boy feels about that. It does not take long before he's gross and creepy with her. But she recognizes immediately and runs for dad. We don't get to see the scene, somehow, even with that busted arm, Pocket Boy manages to best him, steals his car and drives off.

Rat Kid is busy being weird and twitchy with Utah girl. What the hell she could possibly find appealing about him is something I'll never understand. But, either way, it seems like she likes him (and isn't actually turning him in, like I thought she was). I'm fearful that she's going to end up dead soon.

Oh, and Michael calls Tancredi after Bellick tells him what happened to her. He claims that what they had was real. And she's got something that will help keep her safe. It's gotta be whatever he wrote on that origami, right?
