Okay, so it seems like it's been about 5 weeks since the last episode, and the team has continued to be without Dinah and Rene. Curtis is still helping out with John's implant so at least they see him. But Oliver is adamant about not trusting them enough to have them on the team. However, we do really need more manpower since it's basically just Oliver now.
It's around this time, that they figure out the bunker has been bugged. (It's driving me crazy that Felicity would not have figured this out before now). They realize that they have to tell the rest of the team since this puts all of their secret identities at risk, as Cayden James (and his giant ass posse) have seen them all unmasked. I think this is about the time that we tell Dinah that Vincent is working with Cayden James, but I could be wrong.
Once they realize they've been bugged, they purposely send misinformation to Cayden's people and it works, but they don't really get what they need. Oliver killed pretty much everyone, but then Vigilante showed up and held him down, until Oliver made some things explode. (Oliver tries to hook with with this crime boss who is being extorted by Cayden James, the whole enemy of my enemy thing.) But at the end of the day, he sold Oliver out to save his own ass. After this, we sort of decided that we really need the rest of the team.
However, when they approach them, they all decide they want to keep fighting crime, but not with Oliver. And they decide to form their own vigilante group using Helix's old headquarters as their lair. I think this is a terrible idea, just for the record.
Meanwhile, Thea is back and is working as Lance's chief of staff. (Lance fired Rene after he was planning to testify against Oliver- which makes me worried for what will happen with custody of his daughter. I'd assume he needs to hold down a job to keep her). Lance is feeling conflicted about how he feels about Laurel two, which I get. But, then Thea tries to liken her to Malcolm, proving that eventually she might be a good person like him. No. This is not the way. Yes, Malcolm died trying to protect you, but that didn't make him a good person.
