So, One Tree Hill is over. And I'm sad about it. You guys were kind enough to give me some suggestions for ancillary One Tree Hill things, which I do plan to incorporate starting later this month.
And, you have chosen The Fosters as a replacement for One Tree Hill. I sort of feel like it's going to be about foster kids? I sort of vaguely remember seeing commercials for the this. Maybe? But I love to go into stuff blind, so it doesn't bother me at all that I know nothing for sure.
I was actually pretty surprised that you chose to do The Fosters three times a week as opposed to The Vampire Diaries three times a week, but maybe I'm overestimating the popularity of TVD. Maybe I just like it so I assumed everyone else did. π€£
I'm also upset that Tell Me Lies is over. I had no idea I would love this show so much. And S3 probably won't happen for, like, two years. I hate current day TV. This is a sponsored show and the sponsor hasn't decided what they want to replace it with yet, but as soon as I know, you'll know.
We've got some time still, but we might want to have a conversation about what/if anything we want to do when The Originals starts. Like I said, I might be overestimating how much people like The Vampire Diaries, but we should still probably have a conversation about it.
Also, you guys are getting two polls later today. One for the next movie; it's either High School Musical 2 or Spider-Man: Far From Home. And the second is for our next drunk re-watch, it's been so long. But, Dan and I did Dry January, and I'm still sick, so gorging myself on booze doesn't seem like a great choice right now. Lol.
All that said, I lost a lot of subscribers when One Tree Hill ended (which I kind of expected, but it was still sad). So I'd really like to thank the rest of you for still being here. β€οΈ
Oh, one last thing. It might take me a while to figure out (I'm the least tech savvy person in the world), but would you guys want a discord? There is another reaction channel I follow that has a discord and while I don't really get it, the followers all seem to love it. π€·ββοΈ

TVD is a great tv show watching for the first time but for me doesnβt have alot of rewatchability just becomes to cringe . Canβt wait for the fosters

2025-02-01 21:05:12 +0000 UTCThe Vampire Diaries is insanely popular to this day and for good reason it's amazing and has a large active community of fans so I don't think you over estimated it's popularity but The Fosters has similar vibes to OTH in terms of both shows being teen dramas that are not afraid to go their in terms of storlines and cut deep sometimes so maybe that's why it won out.
