Replacing One Tree Hill
Added 2025-01-26 17:00:19 +0000 UTCI'm sad. I cannot believe we're here. How can One Tree Hill be over? It has 187 episodes. I thought it was going to last forever.
Alas, all good things come to an end. But, the good news, is we can start something new. I have seen a decent amount of teen TV (I'd say it's my guilty pleasure, but I hold no guilt over how much I enjoy it). So, lots of suggestions I've already seen.
But right now, we're looking at these possibilities.
I've added multiple options, as I just always think it's more fun if you don't have to choose.

i’ve seen a lot of people love all 3 seasons of young royals so i may be in the minority on that one. xo kitty is fun if you can get past the cringe (i had fun watching it) and there’s quite a few tatbilb cameos that i can see you loving as a fan of that trilogy. and yay! i’ll definitely vote for the bold type in its next poll

2025-01-31 01:42:59 +0000 UTCOoh, The Fosters won! I'm guessing it's about kids in foster care, but don't tell me! I love going into stuff blind. Ugh. I sort of just stumbled onto the description of Locke and Key but it seemed so up my alley. I might just force it into the schedule at some point. 🤣

XO Kitty was really only there because I hardcore LOVED TATBILB. All three of them. And the books. The older I get, the more I love romance. Oh, that's disappointing about Young Royals. I was looking forward to that. I'm sure I'll still watch it some point though. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the person who requested The Bold Type said it wasn't YA, but that I would still like it. I'm thinking it'll probably end up in another poll at some point.

2025-01-26 17:42:48 +0000 UTComg this one is tough! so many good options. i remember wanting to sponsor ginny & georgia at some point. it’s really nothing like gilmore girls other than being about a mother and daughter. it’s so chaotic and s1 can be super cringey but s2 is really good so i’m rooting for it. s3 should be coming this year and it’s already been renewed for a s4 too. elite would be my number choice if it was just the first 3 seasons. it goes off the rails after that and i had to stop watching. but those first 3 seasons are the perfect teen drama murder mystery. it does tell a complete story if you did want to stop there though so that’s an option. xo kitty i only just watched for the first time this past week. i’m not entirely sure if i see it being your type of show but it’s a fun and short one with half hour episodes. s1 is more kdrama and s2 is more teen drama. triangles galore and so much mess but it did give me a new teen drama ship which i’ve missed. young royals had a perfect s1 but i didn’t like the follow up seasons as much. the bold type would be very up your alley but it’s definitely not a teen drama and doesn’t feel like one. it’s a really good watch though and i can see you loving it. the fosters and switched at birth i watched so long ago i barely remember them or if i finished them

2025-01-26 17:27:56 +0000 UTCI remember I used to live for “The Bold Type”, “The Fosters” and “Switched At Birth”. Well I still live for “The Fosters” it’s just soo good and I absolutely love it and it has a spin-off that I also love. Also Lock and Key is sooo good and soooo underrated I absolutely love it and the you will to especially if you love shows with supernatural elements which this has and I love. All four of those shows are really good and I definitely think you would really love them. And personally with Elite I love the first couple of seasons but I think the quality just went downhill after that and it just wasn’t the same and I just completely stopped watching after those early seasons.

2025-01-26 17:22:09 +0000 UTCI have a show that’s 2 seasons long that I think you would like if you want any suggestions for a show to replace One Tree Hill it’s called “Bad Sisters” and it’s an Irish mystery comedy drama show about solving a death and it’s really good and has great dynamics with the characters that I think you will like. If you want a longer show a suggestion I have a Brooklyn Nine Nine it’s such a amazing show and comedy with some brilliantly written characters and if you want show with a great couple there is some on that show that I think you will love.
