Shameless 10X6: Adios Gringos

Okay, so, I completely forgot to record myself reacting to this. I do have the screen recording when you can hear me, but it's mostly me rolling my eyes and being annoyed as I HATED this. If this were any other show, I would have just watched it again and tried to react the same (but told you guys I'd already seen it). But I cannot force myself to watch this awfulness again.

But, if you do want me to upload the screen recording, I totally can. However, I don't think any of you are still watching this show. And I don't blame you. It's not good. (But leave a comment if you want the screen recording).

Either way, he's a bunch of the bullshit I just watched.

Most of this episode focused on Anne's family losing their tamale business (What? Seriously?) and how they were going to cope. Carl suggested going on the offensive and that didn't work. They destroyed all their ingredients and made it impossible to buy more. So they end up making, like, vegan tamales. This was an actual storyline that took up a lot of the episode.

Frank and Liam are busy trying to sell one of Ingrid's babies. Frank is pitting two families against each other to see who can pay the most money. However, he ends up falling for the kid and wants to keep it, but Liam sets him straight. Eventually, one of the families offers to pay $100,000 and the promise never to see Frank again. Deal. However, when they go to retrieve the baby, it turned out the other couple kidnapped him.

Debbie is trying to borrow a foster kid so she can try to pass it off as Franny to Derek's widow. Franny is too well behaved and she needs a demon child to wreak havoc so Pepa won't actually want her. Turns out she did a little too well and, like, set the house on fire. Oh well.

Mickey tried to escape from prison, but gets caught in the attempt. However, he finds out he's actually already been released, so he heads over to see Ian. This was obviously the best part of the episode. However, Ian's PO shows up, pissed that he tried to help someone on his shift. She punishes him by making him sit with meat on his crotch while a dog almost attacks him. Yes, this woman is completely insane. But it worked. During his next shift, Ian drives on by someone who needs help. I'm sad for him.

Kevin is busy trying to teach himself how he was molested by the basketball coach. However, in order to learn, he just copies what people who were assaulted by Michael Jackson claimed the lawyer, obviously, does not believe him. So, he's out the money.

And Veronica is concerned that she's no longer Black enough to hang out with Black people.

I don't think I can handle much more of this. Honestly, if we don't just focus on Ian and Mickey going forward, I'm gonna have to start drinking during these episodes to make them palatable. Lol.

Thank you! I just couldn't stomach doing it again. Lol.

No worries! I do love this show, but I hardly watch past season 6 when I rewatch.
