Prison Break 1X22: Flight

Oh, god. How could they leave me here? What did I ever do to them? There is zero chance they don't get caught, right? They are literally running through an open field with police chasing them. Michael's really gonna have to pull out some genius moves to fix this mess.

So, nothing has gone right from the very beginning. The dogs find them so they are forced to flee before Michael wanted to. By the time they find the van that Abruzzi has waiting for them, they are ready to kill Haywire. They end up ditching him and taking off in the van.

Once in the van, Abruzzi plans to kill Pocket Boy, but he anticipates this and handcuffs himself to Michael. And Abruzzi needs Michael, so Pocket Boy has to come with. Eventually, the van runs into a traffic stop and they are forced to flee on foot. I think it's here where Michael tells Rat Boy he's on his own.

They get to a barn and after trying to break the handcuff, which doesn't work, Abruzzi cuts Pocket Boy's hand off instead. It was glorious. They leave him bleeding out (staring at his severed hand) and take off.

Once they get to the airfield, the cops have spotted them and they are literally trying to get on the plane before they catch up. However, it's too late and they watch the plane take off without them. With no other options, they just run for it. Out into the middle of an open field.

Oh, Haywire stole a kids bike and is just riding around happily, Rat Boy hid out in a horse trailer and made it past the police barricade, and Pocket Boy is running through the woods trying not to bleed to death.

Back at the prison, Pope is trying to figure out what happened and they discover that the door to the infirmary was left unlocked. The nurse admits that Sara had a thing for Michael, so they had to her house with a search warrant. However, once they get inside, they find she's overdosed on morphine. It seems as if she's already dead.

The president dies of a heart attack (I can only assume from that poison that I was supposed to assume was meant for the vice president) and the vice president is immediately sworn in. Now the company is all fawning over her and she's like, bitch, I got shit to do.

And Veronica shows up at Steadman's house and is all like, 'Hi! I see you're alive!'

Where we go from here, I have no idea. I mean there are only two options, they either get away (which looks highly unlikely) or they get caught (which seems like it's got better odds right now). Either way, the show looks entirely different. I mean, they could end up back in prison and continue to try to break out, but there are gonna be SHU and have, like, round the clock eyes on them I'd imagine.

I guess, maybe, Veronica could prove Lincoln's innocence, but that doesn't do much for the rest of them. 🤷‍♀️
