Ugh. Why is Michael smarter than 6 of me put together? I should never, ever guess at what's happening with him because I'm always wrong, and he's always 12 steps ahead.
So, based on the doctor finding part of the guard uniform fused to Michael's skin, the warden asks him if he's being attacked by the guards. When Michael refuses to answer, he gets throw in solitary. This is bad news because the PI has just been told that they only have the rest of the day to work and then they are off the project. So, Michael was supposed to sneak out tonight and fill in the hole so they don't get busted. He can't do that now.
They come up with a plan for Sucre to do it (mostly because he's the only one with access to the hole into the walls), but he's not really confident about getting back. He doesn't have a guard uniform and if he gets caught, he'll get an additional 10 years. However, he and Pocket Boy come up with a plan.
Sucre breaks out and fills in the hole as planned. But, unfortunately, he does get caught coming back. However, he convinces asshole guard that he was not trying to escape, he was just waiting for something to come over the wall. When he is frisked, the guards find a pair of underwear on him (that Pocket Boy got from Tramp Stamp- we'll never speak of it). He convinces him that they are from Maricruz. He ends up getting tossed in SHU as well.
While Michael is in solitary, he starts obsessing about how he can remember the pattern from his tattoo. He rips apart his shirt and starts lining up all the pieces in hopes that he can remember. Eventually, it seems that he gets frustrated and ends up punching the wall. I was 100% convinced he had some kind of psychotic break here. And it seems like the doctor did as well, since she sent him to the psych ward. But of course, Michael is always way ahead. Apparently, this was all a plan to get at Haywire (his old roommate who was obsessed with his tattoos and draw them all the time) and see if he could help Michael out with the pattern. But it seems like they actually make him take his meds in here and he doesn't even remember who Michael is. That's disappointing, but I'm sure he'll have another brilliant plan soon.
On the outside, LJ, Veronica, and Nick go back to the cabin to see if they can find any evidence that might help them. They find secret service guy in the well, and he's holding his cell phone. LJ goes down to get it and sees that he's written Kellerman's name on the wall. When he gets back home, he looks up his address and shows up at his house. He pulls a gun on him and ends up shooting him, but he only clips him. Then, the cops show up and arrest him. No idea how Veronica is gonna get him out of this mess. Pretty soon he, his dad, and his uncle will all be in the same prison.
