Okay, I haven't been paying attention to the credits. Is James in this season? We got almost nothing from him in episode 1 and it was basically all on his own, we got a bit last episode, and nothing here.
So, arguably, the two worst characters on the show, Chris Keller and Chuck, are now getting scenes together where they imitate each other? Kill me. I hate it.
Haley is busy trying to run the cafe, but the chef quits to go work at the cafe that just opened across the street. Brooke is unable to help because she's supposed to be golfing with her father, so Dan ends up coming in to cook. Haley lets him stay because she really needs the help, but she is obviously uncomfortable with this. When he comes out to say 'hi' to Jamie, some of the customers recognize him and don't want to be served by Dan Scott, the murderer. Haley sticks up for him and tells the customers to leave. Curious. Later she tells him he can't come back though, because of Karen, not the customers.
Brooke is trying to spend some time with her father, but it turns out, he only wanted to show her off to the investors, but actually enjoy her company. They get the backing for the new line, but Brooke is disappointed. When she gets back home, her mom leaves saying she doesn't wanna get in the way of her and her dad.
And one of the babies is sick, so Brooke asks Julian to bring him to daycare, so he doesn't get the other one sick. Julian has a busy day, but agrees quickly. He finally has someone who wants to rent his soundstage to film a TV show on. He's running around doing prep for their visit when he gets a call from Brooke asking why the daycare never got Jude. This is when he realizes (and I realize) that he's left him in the car. He gets to the car just in time to see his car broken into and a gurney being put into an ambulance. Fingers crossed Jude is fine. If he's not, Julian is never going to forgive himself.
Quinn finds out that Clay hasn't been taking his sleep medication and is lying to her about it. She follows him and finds out he's been buying drugs. After confronting him about it, he initially lies, but she tells him she's got pictures, and then pulls the pills from out of his pocket. He claims he starting taking them after the shooting when he was in pain, but then he ran out. I assume we're supposed to think he's addicted to pain killers. But he hasn't really been acting like an addict. I guess we'll see as time goes on.
Alex left and Chase is all broken up about it. He goes to a strip club with Chris. I do not care.
Millie finally confronts Mouth about gaining weight. And I think this was way too dramatic. She thinks he's going to eat himself to death? Is she kidding? That seems very extreme.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what happening with Julian after this. I still think my prediction of him not making it out of this show alive is plausible. He might kill himself if anything happens to Jude.
