It so didn't take long for Maddie to find this ring. I didn't, however, expect her to get it stuck on her finger and then end up needing to talk to everyone about it.
While the 118 is busy dealing with lots of engagement, wedding, and love related emergencies, Chim is still stuck on signs. He calls his insurance company about the lost ring and asks if representative if she believes in signs. Regardless, he ends up getting the insurance for the ring.
However, while this is going on, Maddie finds the ring in Jee's dollhouse. She ends up trying it on and it gets stuck. First, she goes to Buck and is upset when she realizes Chim was unsure if he should propose, and Buck sort of inadvertently, throws Hen under the bus for it. Maddie leaves and heads over there.
Once there, she confronts Hen about her not wanting Chim to propose to her. They hash it out and end up in a good place. I like this for them. Hen asks if Maddie wants her to help her get the ring off. And, while we don't see her answer, it turns out, she declines. We see her hanging out with Chim in the next scene and trying to showcase the ring. He notices pretty much immediately, and while confused, listens as Maddie ends up proposing to him. She even gets Jee-Yun to wander in with a child's toy ring for him.
Other than that, Eddie is still trying to get set up by his aunt. So, he tries to find his own dates, but everyone he runs into is already in a relationship. He and Bobby have a chat about it and we find out that Eddie was pursued by Shannon so he's ot really sure of what to do. Later her runs into the woman whose house they rebuilt. It seems like maybe that could be a thing.
And Buck is still hanging out with death doula. However, when Connor's wife (I forget her name but it also starts with a 'C' or 'K') shows up during one of their dates, Buck has to explain who she is and she gets freaked out. I'd like to say, 'good' I'm so not pro her. BUT I'm more concerned about him potentially ending up with Connor's wife. I think I'd prefer death doula to her, right? Ahhh.
Also, Bobby and Athena celebrate their 4th anniversary. And Christopher is weirdly good at design.
