OMG. I feel terribly for Gemma right now. She is suffering and due to club business, feels like she can't confide in Clay, which is leading them to have horrible fights. Several of them in public, in front of the club.
After Clay realizes how badly Bobby is struggling financially, he sends him over to be the bookkeeper for Luann. And she loses her damn mind. Half the club (plus Gemma) heads over to try to talk her down. While Jax is there though, it's revealed that one of the actresses has taken a liking to him and Luann asks him to keep her happy.
Bobby later finds out that Luann has been skimming off the top for years (maybe that's why she was so upset when Bobby showed up), and Bobby tells her it has to go before the club, as she's been robbing them for years. She offers herself up to him as long as he doesn't tell the club. We don't get an actual scene from that, but later when Bobby talks to Clay, he doesn't mention it.
This actress that Jax is protecting is really getting to Tara. And I can see why. She's basically throwing herself at Jax and telling Tara that she's trash. Gemma tells Tara that she's got to defend her territory, but Tara tells her she's not 18 anymore, and isn't going to throw down with a bitch. However, that doesn't stop her from having sex with Jax in the bathroom when said actress is afoot and eventually walks in. Territory staked.
But, the real meat of this episode comes from us trying to decide whether Hale is in the pocket of the Aryans or not. They feed him info about some meth cooking that's going on by the Nords, and after he checks it out, and realizes it's for real, he tells Jax it's not happening. Of course, SOA set him up. At first they were sure he couldn't be bought, but Clay muses that maybe they just didn't bride him with the right stuff. And the right stuff, is getting SAMCRO out of Charming. Which, the Aryans have a plan to help him with. And he goes for it.
Once they realize that Hale is bought, they destroy the drug manufacturing themselves, as they really don't want drugs in Charming. However, Opie, as the fire man, cut this so very close. He decided not to use a trigger and almost got himself blown up. Jax calls him on it, but he promises he doesn't have a death with. I hope that's true. I like Opie!
