Ugh. This season was so not my favorite. I was holding out hope that the finale would be fix things, but it didn't really help.

I mean, I liked some of the things. I love whatever is going on with Ian (and I really hope it's not a meds issue- I hope this is just Ian). He's in hiding after the van explosion of last episode as the police are looking for him. After Trevor pleads with him to turn himself in so it doesn't hurt the kids, he decides to do it with a bang. He, and a ton of others get arrested at a demonstration.

Lip seems like he's doing better, so that's good. He told Sierra that he hasn't been sober long enough to actually be in a relationship. She's pissed, but he sticks to his guns. I'm proud of him. However, I'm less than thrilled that he decides to take Eddie's niece home with him after she bails. I mean, it's a very Lip thing to do, but again, here he is, trying to solve other people's problems and passing them off as his own.

As much as Kassidi pisses me off to no end, her character is actually entertaining. And, we're in a place where the Gallagher's aren't super insane right now, so I feel like we need her. I'm really hoping she comes back next season.

Fucking Fiona. I HATE that she didn't get screwed over by this. All it costs her is 4 grand on what should have been a 6 million (or 3 if she settled) dollar pay out. Fuck her. Why is everything working out for her? Even Ford, who isn't as gung ho to jump into a relationship with her as all the other men, still faithfully watches the apartment for her when she's else where. I really need her to get knocked down a couple of pegs after this season.

I don't really care that much about what's happen with Svetlana's wedding. There's a prenup. Makes sense. I wonder if she'll kill him anyway when she finds out though. I also wonder if Freelania knew there was a prenup. But mostly, I'm ready to be done with this.

Other stuff happened as well, but this is where we are. In all honesty, I'm not all that excited about S9. Sigh. S1-5 of this show were so good!
