Arrow 4X22: Lost in the Flood

So, Felicity manages to find Genesis so Oliver and Dig can go and break out Thea. Of course, right before they get there, Malcolm ends up drugging her and getting her to turn against Oliver. The two of them end up fighting and eventually, Oliver manages to get through to her, and she's back on the right side.

Meanwhile, Machin has got Ruvé and Darhk's daughter chained up and threatens to destroy the entirety of the city, starting with Ruvé if Darhk doesn't show himself. However, Darhk is busy with his statue and he doesn't manage to get there in time. Oliver, Thea, and Dig show up though. They try to talk Machin down because there are a bunch of innocent people in Genesis, but he will not be denied. A fight breaks out, and an arrow hits something that explodes. The command center begins to cave in on itself. Dig is able to save Darhk's daughter, but it's too late for Ruvé (who Machin stabbed before he disappeared.).

This causes explosions throughout the city, and they are forced to evacuate. We know for sure that Oliver, Thea, Dig, and Darhk's daughter, and Malcolm made it out safely. It's likely that Machin did as well, but no word yet.

While all this is going on, Felicity, her dad, and Curtis are trying to shut down Rubicon for good. We had only bought ourselves 24 hours last episode and now we need to use it. But Darhk's got Felicity's ex at him employ. But it turns out, he's not quite as good a hacker as either Felicity or her dad. Or, apparently, as ingenious as Curtis. Between the three of them, they manage to shut down Rubicon for good.

However, after Malcolm talks to Darhk, he decides that he doesn't care if Genesis is destroyed. The plan continues. He'll just burn the earth. He shows up at the loft and decides that Felicity is going to the one to help him bring Hell, to Earth.

Ugh. Yet again, this episode was so much fun!

Fuck. This finale is going to be so good isn't it?
