So, we're still playing this Kris/Matt/Junior love triangle. And I honestly don't know how I feel about it. The problem is, she seems to have chemistry with both of them. And both of them seem like they would be a good match for her. (Or maybe I'm just happy it's anybody but Kerry).
Anyway, this episode, we've got Kris trying to get Wildfire ready for the upcoming race. But, unfortunately, he's just not getting ready fast enough. And, to make things even worse, the guy who is boarding his 12 horses at Raintree, now owns Avatar (who is currently racing better than Wildfire). AND he's being ridden by Tina Sharp. You can imagine how much fun this is for everyone.
Matt is butting heads with Pablo because since he figured out that Taz was a roping horse, he inherited his half of the farm, which basically makes him Pablo's boss. And both Matt and Pablo are having a hard time figure out what this means for their working relationship.
While this is going on, the decision is made to scratch Kris and Wildfire from the race. They don't think having him compete against Avatar in his first race back (especially when he's not 100% yet) is a good idea. Kris is upset, but she's trying to deal with it. Which is difficult when Tina Sharp is afoot looking to cause trouble. She asks Kris finish working with Avatar after she trained with him so she can do some interviews. Kris tells her no. Tina gets pissed and quits.
This upsets the guy who owns the horses, so Kris has to go begging Tina to come back. She refuses to apologize, but agrees to do Tina a favor in the future, no questions asked. This is 100% going to come back to bite her in the ass. But, if I were her, I just wouldn't do it. Especially since it looked like the owner just paid her more money to come back anyway. But it's gonna be rough.
Junior is heading out of town to do the next rodeo. He can't decide if he wants to say good-bye to Kris or not. He wants to get back together, but every time he thinks about it, he ends up seeing Kris and Matt in intimate or compromising positions. And, speaking of compromising positions, Gillian walks in on Matt and Kris rolling around in his bed. She's not thrilled, but he tries to make it up to her by telling her he wants to move in with her.
And then we're got RJ who apparently likes Dani so much (after knowing her for, like, 3 days) that he's not going to his next rodeo because he's rather hang out here with her. Sure. Why not.
