Is anybody still surprised that Ken is trying to screw Dani over? The only person who doesn't seem to be expecting it is Dani.
Anyway, after Gillian realizes Matt is upset about Dani taking Flame back, she decides to get out of the relationship. She offers to sell her shares in Davis farm back. But, when Dani shows up with a proposal, Gillian tells her another farm has outbid her. With no extra money (and unwilling to throw Flame into the deal), Dani has to admit defeat. However, the other farm turns out to be a company that Ken threw together because he knew Gillian would never sell to Dani.
Back at Raintree, Kris is desperately trying to convince both Jean and Pablo, that she's knows what is best for Wildfire. She's sure that they need to push him to get him back into shape, but they are worried that by pushing him, he'll end up worse off. Kris and Matt conspire to set up race between Wildfire and a horse whose name I forgot. Jean and Pablo catch on in time and stop them, fearful for both the horses.
Kris is frustrated because she's sure she's right. Eventually, she has a heart to heart with Jean who, it seems like, finally hears her. And it turns out, she agrees. She lets Kris run the race with Wildfire and no name horse. And it turns out, Kris was right. It was exactly what Wildfire needed.
Later, Jean tells Kris that she's been blaming her for what happened with Kerry. She doesn't want to, and she feels awful about it, but it was still happening. She asks Kris if she can forgive her. Kris does, pretty much immediately. It's a really lovely moment.
