Shameless 8X8: Frank's Northern Southern Express
Added 2024-10-22 19:00:06 +0000 UTCI quite liked this episode. I don't know what it was. There was something really charming about Frank. I also really, really liked door guy knocking Fiona down a few pegs. She's can't believe that this guy might not be into her.
So, Frank is busy running trying to sneak people into Canada. He's got a good operation set up. He sneaks in people, and brings back cheap Canadian medication. It's only been half a trip, but so far, so good.
Also, I love what Ian and Trevor are doing here. They are just wiling to take in anyone who needs help. And not only just take them in, seek them out. They are looking for people who need them, not just being accessible to those that find them.
I'm also really enjoying this side of Kevin. I hope this doesn't became his whole personality, because his character is often a bit of comic relief that this shows often needs from the chaos, but it's nice to see him get to stretch a little bit. Also, Svetlana seems very concerned about it. I'm working if she'll make it to S9.
Lip is doing the best he can to just stay sober. He's sponsor shopping, and not having a lot of luck. Eventually, he settles on the first person he tested out, realizing she was the best of the worst. But it seems like they are setting this up so it's actually a good relationship for him. Let's hope so. He could really use some stability right now.
And Fiona is considering moving into the apartment building. Which might be a good idea as the Gallagher house is constantly overrun with people. And half the time, it's people who don't even live there. I'm looking at you Brad. (And Frank. And whatever Carl's crazy new girlfriend is named).
