Sons of Anarchy 1X8: The Pull

Fuck, I loved this so much. There's zero chance I was the only one freaking out about Jax and Tara having sex 3 feet away from the dead guy, right? But, I also couldn't have been the only person who loved that he was dead, either.

So, Kohn leaves Darby (although I had to look up his name, I know it started with a 'D') some info about SAMCRO and the IRA. The Nords and the Mayans decide to team up to finally take them down. If they dismantle SOA, the Mayans get the gun running business, and the Nords can finally get drugs into Charming. A win/win, right? However, while the Mayans to agree to kill Clay (and the rest of the club later), they also plan to kill Darby.

Meanwhile, we're desperately trying to come up with the $200,00 to give to the Irish. Clay manages to finagle $130,000. We borrow $55k from Gemma porn friend and just need another $15k. Prospect steals an ambulance since he heard they retail for a lot, but there is no way to sell it. Thankfully, Clay thinks is charming and just tells them to ditch it after dark. Jax, who ended up stumbling upon a tank driver, finds out that the Nordics stole his tank after he owed them. He and Opie steal it back. Then he sells it to Onser for $15k. Money problems solved.

When Clay and Tig meet up with the IRA at a bar to hand over the $200,000, the Mayans strike. They aim for Clay, but miss and hit the Irish guy. Tig and the bartender make quick work of it, but we've got to save the Irish and he can't exactly go to a hospital. Half Sac's ambulance to the rescue!

Jax heads to Tara's for medical supplies. They have a brief moment but he determines she's too good for him, and he leaves. However, as soon as he does, Kohn jumps out from whatever this asshole has been hiding and accosts her. She quickly realizes the easiest way to deal with the situation is just to go along with it until she has an opportunity to grab his gun. Eventually she does, and shoots him in the stomach. He begs her to call an ambulance so he doesn't bleed out, but instead, she calls Jax. He shows up and while he's there, Kohn continues to berate Tara, so Jax shoots him in the head. Then, they have sex right next to the dead body. Ewww. Also, Gemma is gonna be so mad.

This is so fucked for Tara. If she'd have just called 9-1-1 instead of Jax, there would be zero issue here. 100% self defense. Justifiable. But with her calling Jax first and him killing him later, this is gonna be so much messier. I assume we can no longer go to the police and now it has to be a club issue. But, Clay and Tig are already sort of on edge about Jax, so who knows how this is gonna play out.
