9-1-1 6X5: Home Invasion

Please, please tell me Hen is not leaving. I mean, it's fine if she wants to go work at the hospital (we're there often enough), but please tell me she's not leaving the show. (I mean, don't actually tell me, but I so do not want that!) I cannot bear to part with her and Karen. I'm extra concerned because the last call to 9-1-1 came from Karen. I'm afraid this disaster might end with both of them off the show.

Anyway, we've got all these robberies happening in the middle of the day. At super rich homes. In broad daylight. Eventually, Athena notices a pattern between them and realizes they're all happening at the homes of people who called 9-1-1 recently. She goes down to talk to Maddie about it, and Maddie realizes that her password was used to pull up all of these calls afterwards, making her look like an accomplice. We know she didn't do it (she wasn't even at the call center half the times it happened), and Athena knows she didn't do it, but it's still unsettling for her.

Somehow, they work out that it was probably Noah (yes, I had to look up his name) and send Maddie in with a wire to try to get a confession. And she does. She tells him she's going to be fired, and not wanting that, Noah confesses. He said he just did it because his dad got into trouble with some bad guys and he was trying to keep his family safe. Then he has the audacity to call Maddie out for lying when she shows him the wire. Like, dude, you have no legs to stand on here. You are legless.

Bobby spends the episode running around trying to pawn Hoover off on any member of the 118 that will take him after finding out that both Athena and May are allergic to him. Everyone gets a turn, but none of them are right. Eventually, Athena gives her to one of the women whose home was burgled.

Hen passes her practical exam and is about to be a doctor! Yay for her! But boo for me, who is afraid this means way less Hen time. 😢

Also, our last 9-1-1 call of the episode is from Karen who reports an explosion at her lab. I don't know anything about rocket science, but jet fuel doesn't seem like a good thing to be in an explosion. She says there are several dead bodies. I don't know if Hen is still gonna be with the team when they show up for this, but either way, it's gonna be a tear jerker.
