Wildfire 3X2: The Fued

Okay, so Kris is busy running herself ragged just to make as much money as possible. She feels awful about what Kerry did and is desperate to help the Ritters with some money. However, it's not nearly enough.

And, to make matters worse, it turns out the Wildfire is sterile, so all the deposits they'd taken to breed with him need to be returned. And Jean has already spent that money.

When a farm comes looking to potentially board a dozen horses there, which would really help out monetarily, everything goes wrong and the ranch looks like it doesn't have enough money to take care of things. He ends up going to Davis farm to board instead. After he leaves, Kris catches up with him and tries to get him to change his mind. This turns into an entire episode of Kris and Dani trying to lure him to their respective farms.

Meanwhile, Kris and Junior are starting to get together again. And it looks like things are going pretty well. However, in a moment of desperation, Kris decides to sell Flame, which Junior gave her as a gift. He's very upset about it. However, turns out that it doesn't matter because apparently, Flame was never his to sell, so Dan just come over and takes him back. Bitch.

Eventually, Matt gives an impassioned speech to the horse owner guy, and he decides to board his horses over at Raintree. And thank goodness. We really need the money.

That's a good point. Junior has never really felt connected to his family. And this is the first family Kris has ever felt close to and she doesn't want to ruin it.

I think part of the issue is that Kris doesn’t see Junior as part of her family but he sees her as his family more than his actual family, or at least his father

Right? I am really starting to like Dani. She's starting to figure out how to become her own person, but her dad just has this power over her. And she falls for his bullshit every time. True. I think I made a big deal about it the first time. He chooses her over family. But she chooses family over him. And history repeats itself. I do hope they can figure it eventually though.

Kris, Junior, and Flame were heartbreakers for me this episode. Them (plus Wildfire) are like a little family kind of and to see Flame get taken away and for Kris and Junior to end up in the exact breakup they were in the first time was awful. It's ironic cause both Kris and Junior have grown a lot as characters but they're still in the same predicament that caused their first break up. Dani is a bitch right now/the last few episodes but I really enjoy this storyline for her. I just wish she'd stop falling for her dad's manipulation.
