Stranger Things 4X3: Chapter Three: The Monster and the Superhero

So, Joyce and Murray head for Alaska to try to get Hopper back. Almost as soon as they leave, Eleven is arrested for the incident at the roller rink. While she's in custody, she tells the officers she didn't know why she did it, and she doesn't know if she meant to kill her. She gets booked and while being transported to jail, the van gets accosted by Sam and his men.

He tells El that everyone on Hawkins is in danger, and the only one who can defeat the 'monster' is her. She tells him that she doesn't have her powers anymore, but he tells her he thought this day might come, and he has a plan to get them back for her. But, it's her decision. She can go with him, or he can take her back home. But either way, she's not going to jail. We don't really get a definitive answer, but I think she's going with him.

Nancy and Robin head to the library to do some research on the guy who was in the psych ward for killing his family. They figure out that he thought a demon was in house and they think there's a good chance it's the Vecna they're looking for. While they doing that, the rest of the gang heads to the school to break into the counselors office. When they get there, they realize that all the victims are connected by trauma. Max starts to hear the ticking of the clock and realizes she might be the next victim. At least she might be able to tell someone what's happening. And, they'd totally believe her.

Lucas, is trying to keep the basketball players from finding Eddie. They are convinced he killed Chrissy, Lucas, less so. Also, am I the only one who thinks Lucas is huge this season? They other actors look like they've grown and matured, but Lucas looks like a grown ass man. Lol.

Back in Russia, Hopper talks to Enzo who is orchestrating his release. He tells Hopper the plan, but it's basically up to him to figure out how to get on the plane, make it work, and get out. He bribes one of the other prisoners to bash him in the ankle repeatedly so he can get his shackles off. His ankle does not look good. I'm afraid he's not gonna be able to walk to the damn plane.

I feel the same way I felt last episode. Let's get everyone back in the same space! I'm hoping that as the season progresses, will start to all reconnect.
