9-1-1 5X1: Panic

Okay, when I originally watched this, I thought fuckhead's lawyer slit Ransone's throat, but assumed that was wrong and claimed it must have been one of his groupies. But when I was going through looking for a thumbnail, I'm pretty sure it IS his lawyer. So, huh?

Anyway, hackers are taking over all the technology and causing all sorts of massive chaos. They are demanding 25 million dollars to put everything right again. During one of these attacks, Athena is testifying against serial rapist guy, who tried to beat her to death. In the melee, he manages to escape the courthouse.

Athena and Ransone are in pursuit, but all the ransomware is messing up traffic and it's taking forever. They decide to check the houses of the groupies who've been showing up to the courthouse to support him to see if they are stashing him. Eventually, Athena realizes he's probably with his lawyer. Ransone gets there first and arrests him. However, his lawyer (I'm pretty sure it's his lawyer), slits Ransone's throat. Since Athena has told the other victims that he's in custody everyone is feeling safe, but unfortunately, that's not the case.

Eddie has a panic attack that he thought was a heart attack. This occurred immediately after Ana is referred to as Christopher's mom, and she corrects with, 'we're just friends.' I have no idea if they are related (and I knew better than anyone that panic attacks can come out of nowhere, but it seems like they are trying to relate them). In the hospital, the doctor asks him if he has any changes or stress, and he immediately looks to Anna as he confirms his 'no.' However, Christopher chimes in that Eddie has recently been shot and the doctor suggests that could be the cause, but Eddie is very resistant to it being that.

Later, when they are transporting a patient, Eddie and Buck run into the same doctor and she asks after Eddie. When Buck questions him, he says it was nothing. But Buck persists saying the doctor was a cardiologist. Eddie will say nothing more than, he didn't have a heart attack. I wonder if he's worried it will get back to Bobby and he'll be pulled from duty. Bobby is known for being a bit overly cautious in that area. I think it might be a 'men don't panic thing,' but I don't wanna believe Eddie is like that. Lol.
