Arrow 3X14: The Return
Added 2024-08-16 20:00:08 +0000 UTCOliver and Thea are training on the island, when Oliver decides to check the ARGUS prison while on a walk to clear his head. You know, since Thea keeps asking what happened to Sara.
When he gets there he finds the guard dead in Slade's bed and Slade missing. He runs to try to protect Thea, but Slade captures them and sticks them in his cell. Of course this was all orchestrated by Malcolm.
After some commiserating, Oliver realizes the cells were meant to hold grown ass men, and not tiny women. By dislocating Thea's shoulder, they manipulate her arm in a way that unlocks the cell and they are free.
Thea finally convinces Oliver to tell her what happened to Sara, and she is devastated when she realizes that she killed her. No amount of convincing from Oliver about the situation will help. Slade attacks them and Thea pulls a gun on him. Much like another episode this week (we don't have spoilers here), she is talked down, not because we don't want the guy dead, but because we don't want Thea to lose herself. Instead, they just stick Slade back in the cell.
When they get back home, Thea loses her shit on Malcolm. She says she will work with him, but only because Oliver thinks it's the best thing to do. But she is no longer his daughter.
Quintin is having a really hard time with Sara's death. He and Laurel show up at Sara's grave at the same time. He blames Laurel for not telling him sooner and is, overall, just a hot mess. In addition, he is carrying around a bottle of booze. Laurel suggests they go to a meeting, but he tells her they can go to separate ones. He shoves the bottle in her hands and heads off without her. She empties it onto the ground.
