The Vampire Diaries 1X12: Unpleasantville

We really need to start telling people about vampires. It's way too easy to let one inside without realizing it. But also, who invites the pizza delivery guy in? And it seems that there are not (at least yet) anti-invitation spells in this universe. We really need to get on that too. Bonnie!

Speaking of pizza delivery vampire, he's the one Elena hit with her car, and now he's toying with her. Why? Because she looks like Katherine. Why are all these vampires in love with Katherine? Does she have beer flavored nipples or something?

Anyway, he attacks Elena later at her house, but thankfully, Stefan shows up in time and saves her. Damon comes over and they make a plan to use Elena as bait at the dance to draw out pizza vampire.

At the dance we find out that pizza vampire and homeschool girl (also a vampire!) are working together. Everyone is apparently trying to find the journal that Jeremy lent to Alaric. She warns him to stop toying with Elena as she's with the Salvatores, and also, she's not Katherine.

Pizza boy manages to get Elena alone after threatening to kill Jeremy if she doesn't meet him. She tries to escape and they get into a skirmish. Thankfully, there are lots of wooden things nearby and she keeps stabbing him with him. Never in the heart, but nevertheless, he's still in pain. Just as he's about it bite her, Stefan and Damon show up. They torture him a bit to get some information out of him. He spills about the journal, but not who he's working with. Stefan finally kills him, because he had an invitation to Elena's house.

Other things we discover in this episode: Alaric's late wife is Elena's mother (well only Jenna learns that), the hot bartender that Bonnie is interested in is also a vampire and was tasked with getting close to her (I assume to get his hands on Emily grimoire), Mystic Falls is in Virginia, Alaric knows about vervain and uses it to counteract Damon's questioning, and probably a zillion other things too, but this description is already insanely long. Lol.
