This was a little better, tears-wise, but I still managed to be emotional. Why does this show make me cry so much? They've done a really good job fleshing out these characters over the seasons. I really care about them.
Nathan ends up kicking Deb out of the house over her relationship with Skills. I think this is a bit hasty, but it's not my mom. Either way, Deb runs into Carrie at the park and they 'bond' over families not understanding how hard it is to be a nanny. Deb tells her she got fired, so Carrie knows the house will be empty during the game. This bitch breaks in and steals a bunch of Jamie's stuff so he'll have it after she kidnaps him.
Brooke has actually gone to therapy! I don't believe it! But I'm so happy for her! The therapist encourages her to go see her mom, which she does. She confronts her about hiring someone to attack her. Her mom doesn't really deny or accept responsibility. Instead, she tells Brooke about how she never wanted her and ruined her life. My god, fuck this bitch. In the end, Brooke lets it all go. She tells her mom she can have the company, but she no longer has a daughter. (I'm gonna be so mad in the future if Victoria tries to make up for this.). This is obviously not as bad as what Dan did, but Dan at least always had a justification about how he was trying to prepare Nathan for the future, to not end up with regrets, like he did. Victoria is literally just, you suck and I didn't want you.
During the game, the Ravens decide to only play with four men, leaving the fifth spot open to honor Q. They lose, but not by that much for being down a man all game. At the end of the game, the team tells Lucas that they want to play a man day for the rest of the season in tribute to him. It's actually a really, really sweet moment. There are some good kids on this team.
Surprise, surprise, I'm not all that interested in the fact that this guy is probably Peyton's dad. What is it with long lost Sawyers just constantly showing up?
And Haley finds out that the hospital had a heart for Dan and he never called to get it. She's suspicious that something is up. Nathan is just hoping he crawled away to die. But we're gonna have to deal with that soon. Again, I still assume this will somehow all work out for Dan.
