She's trying to bond with her so that ultimately, she won't get kicked out of the house, but I don't know if it's working. Also, I love the fact that no one knows what a gender reveal is. If only we could go back to that time.
But, speaking of, on the way to the gender reveal, Nick sees the kid who stole his bike and pulls a U-turn to see where he lives. During the party, he ends up leaving to get his bike back. Carl follows him and discovers that Nick killed the kid with a hammer. Carl is visibly shaken by this and end up throwing up. He ultimately heads over to Sean's to ask if he can stay there for the night. He overhears Fiona tell Sean that Gus wouldn't sign the papers and they can't get the house back. He digs up a ton of ill gotten money and tells Fiona to use it to buy back the house.
Lip testifies that he was a consenting party and that nothing Helene did to him was of a forced or coercive nature. It turns out Helene does this with students a lot. It's just the first time she's gotten caught, I guess. She tells the committee that she's cut all contact with Lip and that she's seeing a sex therapist. Afterward, Lip tries to talk to her, but she tells him stop trying to contact her.
And Sammi's mom shows up. And immediately she and Frank start making out. Fun.
