We can't get one single second to savor this victory. Sigh. We're immediately on to the next problem. And it's a problem. Forget that we're all gonna die in six months, Skaikru might die today. The entirety of Polis hates them and wants them dead for bringing Allie to them.
Echo has decided she's in charge and tells everyone that Skaikru cannot leave the city. Thankfully, Roan manages to survive thanks to Abby and Clarke and since he's got the Flame, he's now in charge until a new Commander is chosen. And doubly thankful, Clarke has convinced him that he needs to let her leave to save everyone. He declares (after much deliberation) that an attack against Skaikru is an attack against him, and Clarke, Bellamy, and Jaha head back to Arkadia to try to figure out what to do.
Murphy and Emori decide that they'd be happier just running away together and living alone.
Back at Arkadia, Raven figures out what's going on and knows that Allie was telling the truth about only having six months to live. We also see that Jasper is about to kill himself before he's interrupted by Monty. (Can I just say here that my mom's boyfriend is also named Monte, but he spells it with an 'e', and writing Monty with a 'y' looks wrong every time. Lol.).
And he was so happy this episode. But I think that's a sign of getting ready to commit suicide, right? Someone who's been miserable for a long time all of a sudden being happy and upbeat? Good writing, show.
But this really just felt like a continuation of last season so far, which in my book, means it was pretty incredible.
I have zero idea how we can stop (or save ourselves from) radiation poisoning. Is there anyway to actually do that? It feels like this might be the one enemy they truly can't stop, but there are still several more seasons yet, so they have to figure something out. (Well, I guess that's not technically true, I guess they could all die, and we could have a show about dead people in the afterlife, or something, but my money is not on that).
