True Blood 2X8: Timebomb

Ooh, are Godric and Bill gonna team up? Maybe if Eric sees that Godric is trying to fit in better with the humans, he'll follow suit.

Anyway, thanks to Godric, we all manage to make it out of the church without a bloodbath. The vampires, plus Sookie and Jason all meet back at Godric's (?) nest and celebrate. Godric is running around telling everyone that he's Team Bill essentially and that they do not need to engage in violence with the humans and there are other ways. Jason apologizes to everyone and he seems genuinely sorry and upset with himself.

For his role in the deceit, Godric banishes Hugo, but does not kill him.

Back in Bon Temps, Sam is arrested for the murder of Daphne, after being set up. And Maryann thinks it's perfectly lovely to serve her heart to Tara and Eggs. Blech. This sends them into some kind of sex charged state, much to the enjoyment of Maryann. Can Sookie come back and reclaim her house from this crazy woman. please?

We end back at the nest where Lorena is trying to bait Sookie into a fight. It works, but Godric breaks it up and tells Lorena it's time to go. Bill walks her out and tells her he never wants to see her again.

Once he gets back inside, Luke (from the vampire church) shows up and reveals he's got a bomb strapped to his chest. Which might not be so bad for the vampires, but he's also wrapped himself in silver chains and silver bullets. There is no way they are all getting out of this alive. Right before we end, he pushes the detonator.

Also, up until right now, I thought this season only had 9 episodes and this was the penultimate episode of the season. I was 100 wrong. (Obviously). But I based a lot of my thoughts on what was gonna go down on the fact that the season was over. Oops. Apparently, there are 12. Eek!
