Arrow 2X5: League of Assassins
Added 2024-06-03 23:13:50 +0000 UTCI think this was my least favorite episode. While I like the Sara flashbacks, I don't really like the current day Sara plot. But it looks like she's gone, at least for the time being.
Quintin refuses to listen to Felicity (I really thought he would), and the only way to keep him safe, is for Sara to reveal to him that she's alive. After a quick reunion, she's off again after making him promise not to tell Laurel or her mom that she's alive. I get she trying to keep them all safe, but how is Quintin supposed to keep this secret? It's a lot to ask.
So, it looks like Moira is going to plead not guilty. And all her secrets are gonna come out of the woodwork. I'm super curious about what else she's been hiding. You know there's gotta be more than just Malcolm stuff on those phone recordings.
Somewhere along the way, Sara apparently became one of the assassins. It's all a little vague and not fleshed out yet, but I expect to get a lot more through the flashbacks. I really wanna know what's going on with this doctor who thinks he's saving the world.
I love that we're in S2 and I still get excited for the flashbacks.

I only sponsored this show. I only watched this show and the crossovers and I was totally fine. I didn't care for the other shows/spinoffs. There is a backdoor pilot coming up for the first spinoff, which I was going to mention to Dana after she watched, but that spinoff doesn't even start until Arrow season 3. The only reason why I was even going to mention the backdoor pilot was because of the 2 part crossover with that show in season 3. Besides the 2 part crossover, which concludes on Arrow, (which I will mention to Dana at the beginning of season 3) watching the shows concurrently is not necessary. Those shows have their own storylines. The annual crossover is really the only time they share a story. Also, the multi-part crossover (3 or more parts) doesn't come into play until season 5 of Arrow.

2024-06-04 17:22:03 +0000 UTCI havent seen this mentioned and I assumed the person who sponsored the show only did it for this show only, but this is part of a bigger connected universe and characters from other shows are going to start appearing(and later entire multi show events where the plot continues in the other show's episode will happen. Those will get really confusing if you are watching just Arrow, since Arrow might be the 2nd, or 3rd episode into a 4 parter 😅) Was wondering if you were already aware of this.
