He's, quite literally, perfect. He cooks, he cleans, he helps with the kids, he never complains, he loves Athena, he works hard, he's kind- I could go on. I really thought that was gonna by a misdirect. Ugh. I do not like these people.
I love Maddie and Athena working together.
Ah! Maddie finally asked out Chim! She's all divorced up and ready to go!
Except, she's not. The crux of the episode was Doug showing up, stabbing Chim, and knocking out Maddie. I can only assume that by the time Chim can get help, they'll be long gone. Also, I'm really, really hoping that Chim doesn't end up blaming himself for this because he didn't make sure that gate closed after he went through.
I hate that they left me on that cliffhanger!

i love that you recognized that this show is really good at being an ensemble show where they actually spread out the stories and they all get their own. the spin off 9-1-1 lone star is the opposite. it’s basically the rob lowe show and the screen time is super uneven and it annoyed me so bad back when i watched. the next two episodes are some of the best of the show imo and i’m so excited for you to get to them!
