I don't think Brooke said they couldn't be friends because he threw the brick through her windshield but rather because of why he was angry at her. He basically said I'm angry you don't like me romantically so I threw a brick through your window. Like what else do you say? She doesn't like him romantically and that's unlikely to change and it's not like he just confessed his feelings for her, he took out that frustration with anger and violence. I wouldn't want to be friends with him either at that point.

2024-02-10 10:00:46 +0000 UTCI agree that Chris is the main reason he gave her the ultimatum in that moment. Nathan's always been supportive of Haley and her music. He was the one who really pushed her to do it in the first place. Now she's wanting to go on tour with this guy who has repeatedly disrespected their marriage, who she has kissed twice and lied to him about it. I'm more on Nathan's side here. I think Haley is confused and overwhelmed with what she really wants. Chris did help her a lot and, as she is so young, to her music and Chris are kind of one and the same right now. That's how it seems to me anyway. I don't like her decision to leave the way she did, but I actually do like this storyline for her. If that makes sense.

2024-02-10 03:29:12 +0000 UTCSee the thing with the ultimatum is Nathan just found out his wife cheated on him and is planning to tour with that same guy she cheated on him with. Initially when Haley tells Nathan about the tour he has a smile on his face like he's excited for her, but the minute Haley mentions Chris that smile fades. I think if Chris wasn't involved he wouldn't have given her the ultimatum, but because of the situation he did. Regardless this season is a rough one for Naley, but you can get through it!
