Weekly Progress #73

This is probably going to be a short post, so let’s get right into it.

This Week’s Completed Projects
THE WITCHER 3 REVIEW IS FINALLY DONE! I finally…FINALLY finished the review. I thought lighting would have taken me a long time to do, but it was really simple. The only issue I had was in post-production in which I positioned some of the rim lights incorrectly and I had to re-render some of those scenes. But other than that, I have no complaints. Also, DigitalZombie, who will be editing the audio for future videos not only did an excellent job handling the audio mixing for the review, but also selecting the tunes for the video. With that said, the review will drop March 9th. Here are some of the screenshots from the video.

This Week’s Ongoing Projects
The next animation I’m working on is the next Sonic video for the channel. Instead of it focusing on Sonic, this video will focus on Knuckles and the Master Emerald. Though the background in this animation will be done via scenebuilds, it was easy to do since all of Angel Island’s props is on the SFM Workshop. For now, animating the video has been straightforward except for the occasionally eyelid issues for Knuckles. I also anticipate that I’ll finish animating the video by next week since technically, the only people I need to animate for the video are Knuckles and…someone else. For now, enjoy these screenshots for the video.

The other animation I’m working is the next “Trying to Impress” video for the next round of T-shirts. The thing to keep in mind is that it will be the only video for this round, and the next round of shirts won’t happen until the Summer. Anyway, the video will focus on depressed Gohan and Piccolo getting him… a gift for him. The only laborious thing I did for the video thus far was editing the game box texture for…one of the jokes in the video. I don’t really have a lot to comment on for the project now since it will be short. Here are some screenshots from the work don thus far.

As for voice over work, I’m almost done getting all the lines I need for the “Nero The Artist” video and I have all of the lines to do the next Neptunia animation which will focus on Histoire. Finally, I'm still gathering the lines for the Q and A video. I expect to get all of the lines soon!

This Week’s New Ideas
I currently do not have any new ideas to report on for this week.
