When their maws open and they go on the attack, mindless as they may be, it takes little to show why dolls are terrifying.

2024-05-15 04:06:32 +0000 UTCFrom the deepest point of the 'uncanny valley'. There's no way for them not to trigger even an adult's core fear. And apparently this goes far deeper than appearances. I think (based on the slate-like blades on the inner side of their fingers) they desire a rather harsh version of 'human touch'. I'm not easily frightened, but I'm seeing the stuff that nightmares are made of!
