This is a bit of an old piece I drew and wrote some time ago. I figured it was time to have it out here since it's been a while.

“We got everyone!” The crowd seemed to say as they carried down the rounded up warlocks over to the town’s plaza, all of them hogtied and gagged, including the man that had been knocked out by Gerald’s blunt blade, still out cold. More and more people began to notice the strange creature that laid on it’s knees, clutching the remains of the armor that the valiant knight had been wearing.
“What is that?” Gerald’s ears picked up on the mutters of the crowd as she turned around to see some men pointing their pitchforks at her.
“It’s a beast,” another man said as out of the sudden, the remains of the shirt she had been wearing gave out and suddenly a pair of wings bloomed out behind her, flapping and stretching.
“It’s the knight! It’s Gerald!” Some one called out from within the crowd as she pulled herself up on her feet, her legs trembling as she looked down at her hand. She had managed to survive being hit by a spell but why did this had to happen to her. She struggled to get up and maintain her footing now that her feet seemed to favor her standing on the ball of her feet and with her new tail swishing into a place between the legs.
“I’m never going to be a knight like this,” she thought as she stared at her hand. Her clawed bird like hand. “There has to be a way for me to turn back,” she muttered to herself before looking at the three hogtied warlock with a frown. “I can’t stay like a beast! This will mean my end. No future as a knight. No wealth. No family. No future.”
