Episodes 38 and 39 for Rance IX are up!
Added 2023-03-21 12:15:31 +0000 UTCDid Tilde's and Senhime's routes today along with 2 of Sheila's H scenes after she got found out to be Sheila. Senhime's was pretty shocking since I knew she was gonna have a kid but not pregnant at this time lol other than that it was fairly normal nothing stands out. Tilde's was nice since it gave Amitos some time to shine and tying up some loose ends since we never found out what happened to Bashou in the other routes. I was gonna record the other 2 routes today too but I have been pretty sleepy so I'm gonna nap before I bike today! Hope you guys enjoy the episodes! Tomorrow we are finishing Rance IX!

Awesome! Yeah I'm also really anticipating X lol Sill won't be as jealous as Lia as was on Kanami's route tho Lia's jealosy was cute as crazy as she is! Kichikuou is a bit more dated and Rance didn't have the time to grow before he is put on the spot so some of his choices in the game might be more brutal but really imo a very good story a lot of people doesn't seem to play it mostly because the gameplay is super archaic but no worries my LPs are here for that exact reason!

2023-03-24 01:44:47 +0000 UTCI just watched the epilogue and it was actually so wholesome 🥹 I can’t wait to see Sill’s reaction to all the kids lmao I do remember her asking Rance for a baby in Sengoku so I’m gonna assume a bit of jealousy but we shall see in X! Super excited to see Kichikuou as I’ve heard amazing things (probably gonna be a bit of whiplash comparing Rances character from IX)

He never gets nervous for almost anything lol, he definitely grew up a bit but his core is still the same before the retcon in non remake games he was more brutal though as seen in rance iii and kichikuou

But yeah I totally agree that the series grew along with the audience, Rance himself has also mellowed a lot as a person since having kids compared to his younger days, which is really nice!

I believe the true end of Rance IX should have a scene with Sill! And yes when Reset was introduced it was amazing, the series really grew along with the audience so Rance having a kid in his later years really made it sink in just how old I'm getting too lol

2023-03-21 13:03:21 +0000 UTCIt's because Sill hasn't been around for quite a while now, usually Sill would be the one to cast contraception magic to prevent him from actually making anyone pregnant. Started with Feliss but in her case it was special since devils weren't supposed to get pregnant, Pastel came next and then Teru and I believe Yamamoto Isoroku also got pregnant! I know Rance X focuses on his kids so I'm hyped! But... it won't be out for a while lol
