VIDEO: The Trump Investigation You've Never Heard of

Hi all -

We typically spend months to plan, research, write, edit, animate, and score each video we produce, but because this story was breaking news that we wanted to share with you all, we sprinted to pump this out in two weeks.

Johnny calls the team that worked on this video ‘Megazord’ (which is a Power Rangers reference), and there’s a pretty good chance we’ll do this sort of thing again.

We'd love to hear from you guys on what our Megazord team should take on next.

Why is it no longer possible to listen to the videos in Spanish? Will this be possible in the future?

Corpetit

The Congo story is one I'd be all crisps waiting to see if in the roadmap 😌✨️

Granson

Loved it 👏✨️

also taking the "i could shoot someone and not lose voters" out of context is cringe journalism. He was talking about a poll that was done and that was the question. His numbers showed 90 percent of people would stay while the other candidates had 9%. But you cut it out and make it seem like he's saying that on his own.... You know the true context but want to spin it to paint a picture and influence the viewer because you have bias. If you didn't know the full context well you're a shitty journalist.

this is more than likely a disinformation campaign, just like the other 2 Russian hoax's and hunter bidens laptop and his many false lawsuits. Let's just drag political opponents through the mud and worship the establishment even more. Godbless AIPAC we love AIPAC orange man baaaaah'd. Likely my last month here.

Thanks for the added insight! 👌🏻

It is only "unprecedented" if viewed in the light of the last 52 years. Before 1972, the way Harris was nominated is basically the way every major-party presidential nominee was nominated, by a vote of party delegates at the convention without primaries. Delegates voting to formally nominate the candidate for president (and VP) is actually the only official reason for a party convention.

Thomas David

Sure, all that is clear. I still think considering it's unprecedented, it's worth taking a closer look at. To add to that is the favt that the WH was hiding Biden's cognitive decline. Also, I am not a US citizen just for the record, so I don't really have a horse in the race. But as the so called shining city on the hill, I follow the US election closely as it is clearly very influential on the rest of us living in the West.

Alex Portelli

Whoa. That is NUTS. But also, after experiencing the reign of 45 and what has come after... not entirely surprising. I wish it were more surprising obviously, but at this point, my expectation of how low they go? The bar never seems to find a bottom. Great piece tho. How long were you all working on this one? And great sources doc btw. Very thorough and organized. Top notch! 👍

@DaveRizz

As you note, at the time Biden was only the presumptive nominee. The nominees were not "switched out." Harris was simply nominated based on Biden's release of his delegates and the all-but-consensus Democratic Party support for Harris. The campaign (not nomination) machinations were made easier by the fact that, as Biden's VP selection, Harris was already on much of the finance paperwork.

Thomas David

Can you also post the link to the WP investigation? Thanks!

Andreas Karampekios

Looking forward to watching this! Would be great if you could deploy Megazord to do an explainer on how the DNC switched out the presumptive nominee so quickly. I'm pretty sure there are some insights that are unkown to the general public that you guys could uncover. Keep up the great work! 💪🏻
