VIDEO: $25,000 vs $25,000,000

Hi friends! Working on this one was definitely different — and we got to work with green screens, which was a blast. Let us know what you think about videos like these — should we make more of them?

Great video! It's like one of those movies where you walk down the street after -- talking to your friends about different parts and ideas provoked. Great exploration of a critical issue.

Really Loved this episode. I compared with Sweden where I live and grow up in. It is so different and I guess in Sweden the lower end of the classes has it better. The society has better cover and good stores everywhere more or less.

The use of the green screen is fun. On more serious news stories, maybe an occasional montage of images together like what used to be done in US govt. newsreels, too.

Really good video

I loved this video to the fullest. Great Animation and analogies to explain the story. I would love to see the script for this video, I need to learn to write more of such kind for improving my storytelling methods. Kudos to the entire team for making this piece of content :)

It's interesting how the standards of living change at different levels, which I find oddly similar to my home country

I love how you connect this to the human experience at the different levels. I did pretty well in Silicon Valley, but I had some tough times along the way (not realising that of course I was on an easier track than my peers, who grew up in the US and were thus saddled with student debt and coerced into lifestyle habits that probably contributed to expensive chronic health issues, because mate, those health nuts are just trying to sell you shit, right?) So the first few tiers described my life in the US at various times frighteningly well, and made this so relatable.

You know... the unexpected Mr. Beast style money-pile thumbnail pulled me in, but knowing the value of what was about to hit me was what kept me from adding it to my "Watch Later" playlist to finish watching later. lol And I have to say, it delivered. I could feel my blood pressure rising as you climbed up the income scale. Even as I knew full-well that the share-of-income graph comparing today to the 1920s was coming... and I still couldn't control my anxiety from the insanity of today's high earners. (btw "Robert" totally makes me think of Nicholas Van Orton, from that 1997 David Fincher film The Game.) And you know the thought I'm left with after watching this? I wonder what the daily/monthly lifestyle of the ultra-rich was like, during that 1950's era? Maybe there is some Goldie-locks zone? Obviously, 20% (1915 & today) is WAY bad & wrong... and 10% (1980) seemed to rally & galvanize the ultra rich to mount a 40 year effort to take over politics & the media to tip the scales back in their favor... so maybe 12% or 15% might be that sweet spot? Maybe if the ultra-rich saw what life was like for their ilk in the 1950's, they might let up on the "starve the beast" campaign they have on government? Maybe we could aim for some medium level that brings about the best for all, instead of these insane extremes? I dunno. Just a thought. Luv it tho. ❤️✌️❤️✌️❤️ Really fantastic video. (Makes me want to forward it to my friend that is a globe-trotting senior VP for a massive Pharma Co... just to see how bad he'd rip into me about my "liberal belly-aching")
