In journalism there’s this persistent myth that reporters are neutral messengers of “truth.” Yet, the reality is, researching any topic comes with a lot of baggage; biases, worldviews – “truths” we think we understand inside and out. So working on any controversial topic is always an exercise in perpetually scrutinizing your own beliefs against the reality of what we know, as far as we know it. And what better topic to attempt this with than UFOs.
I hope the result is a video that is less interested in making you fantasize about the possibility that aliens are visiting earth, and more excited about what it means that the US government is FINALLY scientifically investigating the very real phenomenon of Unidentified Flying Objects. - Paji

For some weird reason any UFO/UAP stuff sends shivers up my spine. It's the only thing that spooks me. I tell people "Signs" is the scariest movie I've seen, much scarier than The Ring. Anyway, this was an awesome and interesting dive into UAP's. Much kudos to Johnny and his team! And just wanted to share my own UAP story. I went to a boarding school in Alabama from 2002-2006 for high school. Was lying in the soccer field with my friends on a Saturday night in the autumn stargazing in 2003. We start seeing what appears to be a satellite, but then it starts flying in small semi-circles the night sky as if waving to us. UAP was completely silent while doing these unusual maneuvers. After about 15 minutes we got too spooked by this unusual thing in the sky and we went indoors to watch a movie. Never saw it again. Maybe it was someone trying to spook a bunch of teens with an RC helicopter with a light flying high enough so we didn't hear the rotors. Maybe it was the military testing early drone technology and found some teens to spook for funsies. Maybe it was something else. I've accepted I'll never find out what it was and moved on with my life.
