Chaos at the Café

The Green Leaf, a coffee shop that opened recently was making such headlines that people would visit their location at all times of day, resulting in the necessity to create a night team to cover the late night and very early morning.

The night crew however was not too fond of having to deal with customers at such an early hour ... and when the newest brew had been identified as one of reasons for human spontaneous shrinking, due to one of the ingredients used in it's coffee, higher ups where more than open to the proposition of sweeping it under the rug, provided the day crew did not use it and nobody else disclosed the issue. A win win for all parties concerned.

It didn't take much time for unfortunate clients to fall victim, due to their own health issues, compounded by the effects of the ingredients, to experience the shrinking inside the shop.

That early morning had been particularly chaotic as some late night party goers went in to get a coffee just before the morning regulars would start to arrive, mostly students who'd spent the night studying for an important exam ... totally unaware that the troublesome party goers had been given a contaminated beverage minutes before they entered.

Still sobering up, their "wake up call" came in the forme of absolute giants, stomping the ground with each step, completely unaware of their presence beneath their feet, probably still too tired to even notice stepping on something ...

What came next, with the influx of early morning customers would result in a massacre of only recently shrunken people, shell-shocked by what was happening around them, unable to seek refuge and resigned to their fate, still inebriated and somewhat detached, thinking it was but a drunken dream.
