30 Minute Yoga Nidra | Guided Meditation for Deep Nervous System Reset
Added 2024-10-19 13:38:22 +0000 UTCIn this 30-minute Yoga Nidra session, we dive into a place of deep relaxation while staying fully conscious (its more than okay if you fall asleep). Yoga Nidra, also known as “yogic sleep,” or as Andrew Huberman calls it 'Non-Sleep Deep Rest' NSDR, and its a powerful practice that allows you to access a deeply restful state, similar to sleep, but while still being awake and aware. The idea is to guide you into these slow brainwave states where your body can truly let go.
Throughout the session, we’re combining heart coherence breathing with a focus on different parts of the body. With each breath, you’ll consciously release any tension you’re holding in specific areas while staying connected to your heart center. This combination helps calm the nervous system and reset the body and mind.
Length: 30 Minutes of Breathing + 5 Minute Meditation
Rounds: No rounds
Breath Holds: None
Breathing Style: HRV breathing, about 6 seconds in, 6 seconds out (4 counts with this BPM)
When to Use: Any time you need a deep nervous system bath
