we DID find a huge field of ukiyo-e skeletons, a dead bird with a babydoll head and a final fantasy lion, so it hasn't been ALL bad,

I managed to get the ones in Redmane after several several tries, but the ones in the castle in MotG are SO SO MUCH STRONGER ;___; Also, YES, the skeletons are for running past, definitely ;_____;
